A player can place a wager on one number or any number in addition to the color black and red. Also, they have the option to bet on whether the numbers are odd, even or high (19-36) or low (18-18). A croupier turns a wheel in one direction and turns the ball around, on an inclined track that runs around the outside edge of the wheel in order to identify the winning numbers. When momentum is lost, the ball falls through a deflector circle before landing on to the wheel. Anybody who placed a winning bet gets the winnings.
