Dina Meyer was born and raised in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island, just before her last term of junior high. Dina Meyer has two brothers. Gregory is her elder brother and Evan is her younger. Her first experience in the world of entertainment came in the form of modeling between the ages of nine and 16. Her acting career began in The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She studied Sanford Meisner's techniques alongside Ron Stetson for three years. Other actors to receive such education include Sandra Bullock, Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum, Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton, and many other actors. The first film she appeared in was Beverly Hills 90210 which forced her to make the move in Los Angeles. Soon after, she scored the lead in the movie Johnny Mnemonic, in which she did almost all of her own stunts and established herself as an athletic actress. With the help of her agent, who represents Matt LeBlanc she scored a part as a guest on Friends.
